Jennifer Lynn Labit, Arnold, MO; and James Andrew Labit, Arnold, MO. Filed: 9/9/11 Issued: 3/14/17 A reusable diaper comprising: a forward portion; a rearward portion; a crotch portion; a waist portion having at least one corner region for use in securing the reusable diaper in a desired position; at least one inner layer; at least one outer layer; and a three-by-three array of snap members that are horizontally arranged and aligned in at least three rows and vertically arranged and aligned in at least three columns along the forward portion of the reusable diaper, positioned slightly below a waist closure, to thereby provide an adjustable, snug, and precise fit to a diaper wearer’s body, the at least three rows including a first row of at least three spaced-apart horizontally arranged and aligned snap members vertically spaced from and aligned with and selectively engagable to corresponding horizontally arranged and aligned snap members in the remaining rows of the array to thereby allow selective adjustment to both a functional rise and a leg opening size of the reusable diaper by selectively engaging two corresponding rows of the at least three spaced-apart horizontally arranged snap members to thereby adjust both a length of the crotch portion and the leg opening size; wherein the first row of snap members includes a first snap member located generally centrally across a width of the diaper, a second snap member located toward one lateral side of the diaper, and a third snap member located toward another lateral side of the diaper; wherein the snap members of the first row and the two other rows of the array extend substantially across at least one width of the forward portion; wherein the corner region includes a first layer and a second layer coupled together so as to define an interior portion of the corner region, the first layer being further coupled to the at least one inner layer, and the second layer being further coupled to the at least one outer layer; wherein the reusable diaper includes: a first seam allowance defined by the first layer of the corner region and the at least one inner layer, the first seam allowance being positioned generally within the interior portion of the corner region, whereby the first seam allowance helps inhibit wicking of liquid through the first seam allowance and into the corner region; and/or a second seam allowance defined by the second layer of the corner region and the at least one outer layer, the second seam allowance being positioned generally within the interior portion of the corner region, whereby the second seam allowance helps inhibit wicking of liquid through the second seam allowance and into the corner region.
